HiStalker is a social media application designed for chat and content sharing among consenting users.
This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.
We use Your Personal data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Interpretation
The words whose initial letters are capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
Account means a unique account created for You to access our Service or parts of our Service.
Affiliate means an entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with a party, where "control" means ownership of 50% or more of the shares, equity interest, or other securities entitled to vote for election of directors or other managing authority.
Application refers to HiStalker, the software program provided by the Company.
Firebase Services: The Application uses Firebase services provided by Google LLC for authentication, database storage, analytics, and crash reporting. Firebase may collect device identifiers, usage data, and diagnostic information to support core app functionality. Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to HISTALKER LLC, 800 N King Street Suite 304 -1387, Wilmington, DE 19801.
Country refers to: Delaware, United States.
Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cell phone, or a digital tablet.
Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
Service refers to the Application.
Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company. It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company, to perform services related to the Service, or to assist the Company in analyzing how the Service is used.
Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).
You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify You. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:
Email address
First name and last name
Nickname
Date of birth (day, month, year)
Gender identity
Profile photo
Interests
Online/offline status (visible only to friends)
Third-Party Authentication
When You choose to sign in using a third-party account such as Google, We may collect certain information from that account, including Your name, email address, and profile picture (if available). This information is provided to Us by Google according to their privacy policy and authorization process.
We use this information solely to create and manage Your account within the Application, authenticate Your identity, and allow You to access the Service securely. You can manage or revoke the connection between Your Google account and our Service at any time through Your Google account settings.
Usage Data
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.
Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.
When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device's unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.
We may also collect information that Your browser sends whenever You visit Our Service or when You access the Service by or through a mobile device.
Messages and User Content
Our Service allows You to send text messages, images, and other content to other users. These communications are transmitted securely but are not end-to-end encrypted. This means that message data is protected during transmission but may be temporarily stored on our secure servers for delivery and synchronization purposes.
We do not access, monitor, or use the content of private messages for advertising, analytics, or profiling purposes.
Direct Messages (DM):
DM messages are stored until one user deletes the conversation.
When one user deletes the conversation, it is permanently deleted for both users.
Group Chats:
Group chat messages are deleted automatically when all users leave the room.
Security:
Messages are not end-to-end encrypted; only encrypted in transit and at rest.
Messages are not used for advertising, analytics, or profiling.
Message data may also be deleted automatically when a user deletes their account or after a retention period necessary to ensure the proper operation of the Service.
User-Generated Content & Profile Visibility
Users may create a profile and upload a profile picture within the Application. This information is visible to other users according to the visibility settings You select.
You may update or delete Your profile information, including profile photos, at any time through Your account settings. Deleted profile data will be permanently removed from our systems within a reasonable period unless retention is required by law.
In general, deleted profile information and messages are permanently removed from our systems within 30 days unless retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention or dispute resolution).
Data Visibility:
Visible to matched or chatting users: First name, Nickname, Profile photo.
Visible only to friends: Online/offline status.
Never visible publicly: Gender, Birth date, Interests.
Device Permissions
The Application may request access to certain features of Your device to ensure full functionality:
Notifications: To alert You of new messages, friend requests, or activity within the Application.
Storage access: To allow You to upload and display profile photos.
Location Access:
The Application collects location data only while the app is in use (foreground).
Location is used solely to calculate proximity for matching users into 5-person chat rooms.
The Application does not access or store background location data.
Denying location access disables matching functionality.
Location data is not shared with third parties except Firebase.
The Application does not access or use Your camera or microphone. You can manage or revoke these permissions at any time through Your device’s settings.
Use of Your Personal Data
The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:
To provide and maintain our Service, including to monitor the usage of our Service.
To manage Your Account: To manage Your registration as a user of the Service. The Personal Data You provide can give You access to different functionalities of the Service that are available to You as a registered user.
To facilitate Matching: The Service uses location and profile data to place users into 5-person chat rooms based on proximity.
For the performance of a contract: The development, compliance, and undertaking of the purchase contract for the products, items, or services You have purchased or of any other contract with Us through the Service.
To contact You: To contact You by email, telephone calls, SMS, or other equivalent forms of electronic communication, such as a mobile application's push notifications regarding updates or informative communications related to the functionalities, products, or contracted services, including the security updates, when necessary or reasonable for their implementation.
To provide You with news, special offers, and general information about other goods, services, and events which We offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or inquired about unless You have opted not to receive such information.
To manage Your requests: To attend and manage Your requests to Us.
For business transfers: We may use Your information to evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which Personal Data held by Us about our Service users is among the assets transferred.
For other purposes: We may use Your information for other purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns, and to evaluate and improve our Service, products, services, marketing, and your experience.
Blocking Users
When a user blocks another user:
They cannot match in any chat room.
They cannot send or receive messages.
They cannot view each other’s online/offline status.
Disclosure of Your Personal Data
We may share Your personal information in the following situations:
With Service Providers: We may share Your personal information with Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service, to contact You.
For business transfers: We may share or transfer Your personal information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of Our business to another company.
With Affiliates: We may share Your information with Our affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy. Affiliates include Our parent company and any other subsidiaries, joint venture partners, or other companies that We control or that are under common control with Us.
With business partners: We may share Your information with Our business partners to offer You certain products, services, or promotions.
With other users: When You share personal information or otherwise interact in the public areas with other users, such information may be viewed by all users and may be publicly distributed outside.
With Your consent: We may disclose Your personal information for any other purpose with Your consent.
Analytics and Tracking Technologies
We use third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics to monitor and analyze the use of our Service. These tools help Us understand user behavior, improve the Application’s performance, and enhance user experience.
Google Analytics may collect information such as Your device type, operating system, browser information, IP address, and usage patterns within the Application. This data is processed in accordance with Google’s own privacy policy, which You can review at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
We also use Firebase Analytics, a Google service that provides anonymized usage data to help improve app stability and user experience. Firebase Analytics may collect device identifiers, events, and interaction data. This information is processed in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.
We do not use analytics tools to personally identify users. All collected data is aggregated and used solely for statistical and operational purposes. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by adjusting your browser settings or using the Google Analytics opt-out tool.
Advertising
We may display advertisements within the Application. These ads may be served by Us or by third-party ad networks such as Google AdMob or similar services.
We use Google AdMob to serve ads within the Application. AdMob may collect advertising identifiers, IP address, and general location data to provide contextual or personalized ads. Users in the European Economic Area (EEA) will be shown a consent dialog in compliance with the EU User Consent Policy. More information: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
These advertising partners may collect information such as Your device ID, IP address, general location, or interaction data to provide personalized or contextual advertisements that are more relevant to You. This data collection and processing are governed by the respective privacy policies of those third-party providers.
You can manage or limit ad personalization through Your device settings or by visiting https://adssettings.google.com/. We do not control the data practices of third-party advertisers and encourage You to review their privacy policies for more information.
Remarketing and Behavioral Advertising
We use remarketing services to advertise our business on third-party websites or applications after You have visited or interacted with our Service. This allows Us to show You relevant ads and improve our marketing effectiveness.
Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar tracking technologies to serve these ads based on Your previous visits to our Service.
You can opt out of Google’s use of cookies for advertising by visiting the Google Ads Settings page: https://adssettings.google.com/. We do not have control over third-party tracking technologies used for remarketing purposes.
Payments and Transactions
We may provide paid products or services within the Application. In that case, We use third-party services for payment processing (e.g., payment processors).
We will not store or collect Your payment card details. That information is provided directly to Our third-party payment processors whose use of Your personal information is governed by their own Privacy Policies. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which helps ensure the secure handling of payment information.
We may receive limited information from the payment processor such as transaction status, amount, or confirmation details to verify and complete Your purchase.
Data Controller

Reporting Abuse
In-App Reporting and Moderation. Users can report inappropriate behavior directly through the Application or via email.
Users may report inappropriate behavior directly through the Application using the in-app reporting feature or by contacting us via email. When a report is submitted in-app, we collect and store limited information such as the reporter user ID, reported user ID, report reason, optional description, and timestamp.
This data is used solely for safety, moderation, fraud prevention, and enforcement of our Terms and Community Guidelines. Reports are reviewed manually or through internal moderation processes. Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination.
Users may report harassment, threats, illegal content, and impersonation.
Reports are reviewed as soon as reasonably possible.
Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent ban.

“Do Not Track” Signals (CalOPPA Compliance)
Our Service does not respond to “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals at this time. However, You can manage cookie settings and advertising preferences in Your browser or mobile device settings.
Retention of Your Personal Data
The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of Our Service, or We are legally obligated to retain this data for longer periods.

Delete Your Personal Data

Our Service may give You the ability to delete certain information about You from within the Service.
You may update, amend, or delete Your information at any time by signing in to Your Account, if you have one, and visiting the account settings section that allows you to manage Your personal information. You may also contact Us to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that You have provided to Us.
Account Deletion Specifics:
When an account is deleted, all profile data, DM conversations, and group chat participation are permanently deleted from Firebase.
Please note, however, that We may need to retain certain information when we have a legal obligation or lawful basis to do so.
Disclosure of Your Personal Data
Business Transactions
If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, Your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before Your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
Law enforcement
Under certain circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose Your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 18 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information from Our servers.
If We need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing Your information and Your country requires consent from a parent, We may require Your parent's consent before We collect and use that information.
